I was hired to make a logo for a group of folks starting their own workplace club. The inspiration was 1920s, crosshatched style. As they'd said it was Early Bird Gang, I came up with the idea that it should be a rooster with a worm, as in the early bird (the rooster crowing sunrise) would hang out with the worm, having coffee. It materialized into this, with art nouveau flourishes.
