Therapist & Coach (Student)
Kaytee (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, doing her practicum at the ADHD & Spectrum Centre, and is fluent in both English and French. Given her experience, Kaytee grounds her work in deep respect for individual differences rather than labels, and supports clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves — all parts of the human condition, neurodivergent or otherwise.
After a series of mental health diagnoses that never quite fit, including treatment-resistant depression and OCD, she received a late-in-life AuDHD (Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) diagnosis (in her early 40s), which brought clarity to why what worked for others never seemed to work for her. This experience fuels her passion for supporting others who may feel like they don’t quite fit the “typical” mould and who are seeking approaches tailored to their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and processing the world. That said, Kaytee supports neurodivergent and neurotypical folks alike to untangle unhelpful patterns and move toward lives that align better with each client's values.
With a warm, non-judgmental approach, she is committed to creating a safe and collaborative environment where everyone feels seen and supported. She strongly believes that life is more peaceful when we embrace what makes us uncommon, and she strives to help her clients transform those differences into sources of strength and meaning.
A lifelong visual artist (give her any medium, she’ll run with it), Kaytee brings creativity into both her personal and professional life. She believes that therapy can be a space for curiosity and self-discovery, and she integrates compassion, humor, and authenticity into her work.
When she is not in the office, Kaytee is often immersed in sci-fi or fantasy worlds, either through books or video games, usually with one or more cats sprawled across her lap. She also takes pride in her quirky, ever-evolving relationship with food: though a notoriously picky eater, she makes an effort to try new things every so often, and she’s recently (and triumphantly) added oyster mushrooms — deep-fried into oblivion, of course — into her regular rotation.
